From May 28 to 30, 2025, the International Defence and Security Technologies Fair (IDET) took place in Brno — one of the most important military industry events in Central Europe. This year’s edition attracted a record number of over 650 exhibitors from 34 countries and more than 35,000 visitors, including numerous military delegations and representatives of the defense industry from around the world.
IDET 2025 served as a platform for showcasing the latest technological advancements in defense and security. Among the highlights were the new version of the Pandur 8×8 EVO armored personnel carrier, the CZ BREN 3 assault rifle, and advanced unmanned systems such as the Hornet UGV and MTS UAV. Special attention was also drawn to the Space Defense zone, dedicated to space technologies and their role in modern defense systems.
Running concurrently with IDET were the PYROS and ISET fairs, focusing on firefighting technologies and public safety. The event also featured dynamic demonstrations of military, police, and rescue equipment at the IDET Arena, as well as academic conferences, including the International Conference on Military Technologies (ICMT 2025).
Participation in IDET was a great opportunity for VANSTAR to explore the latest trends in the defense industry, establish connections with potential partners, and gain insights into the future direction of technologies that may influence the development of our company.
